| He had no idea how to use his camera and I only had a slight idea. He had a Canon Rebel XS. Mine is just a point and shoot Canon Powershot A710IS. I really need to upgrade. Unfortunately, I left my polarization filter at home and the screen was too shiny so it was a bit deceptive. I did not see the true quality until I had gotten home. I should have changed the settings a bit. Either way, my camera quality is crap compared to his.
